Dr David Hou
Dr David Hou was born and raised in Vancouver BC. He went to elementary and high school in the Dunbar area. He finished his undergraduate degree with honours at the University of California, and stayed in California for his dental training. He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2006 and has since been practicing in the lower mainland for the past 18 years. Dr Hou is a part-time faculty member at UBC Dental School and has been teaching and mentoring students since 2010. He’s won the UBC part-time teaching award for excellent dental instructors in the field in 2014 and also 2017.
Dr David is active in different study clubs and regularly attends continuing education courses in dentistry. Dr Hou is also fluent in mandarin chinese if that may be helpful to some patients.
Dr Titus Hou
Dr. Titus Hou was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. He attended elementary and high school just blocks away at St. George’s School. After graduating high school, he moved to the golden state, California, to obtain his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the world-renowned University of the Pacific. In 2012, he decided to return to his hometown of Vancouver after graduation to be closer to his family, and has been practicing in the lower mainland for the past 12 years.
Like his cousin, Dr, David Hou, Dr. Titus is also a part-time faculty member at UBC School of Dentistry, and is also active in many different study clubs mentored by experts in the field. He regularly attends continuing education courses in dentistry to stay on the cutting edge of the profession. Most recently, he worked with Vancouver Coastal Health, and participated in the COVID-19 vaccination campaign and helped immunize the public at VCC immunization clinic.
Dr Titus enjoys meeting new people, and believes in conservative and preventative treatment to help his patients obtain the best for their oral health.
